... We had truly fallen on our feet! – the restaurant was buzzing with family chit-chat and bustling with the busy waiters, while a rich pot pourri of Mediterranean smells wafted through invitingly from the kitchen...

I went last week for a Christmas works lunch(£21.95) and was very impressed and would go again. We promptly seated upon arrival in a nice and cosy alcove. A glass of Prosseco was provided on arrival while we waited for our starters. I had liver pate served with toast and garnish, very smooth pate with plenty in the tub. Main course was turkey steak covered with Palma ham and cheese and traditional veg which was filling and tasty (others had steak and spinach ricotta). For desert I had warm chocolate Brownie and ice cream followed by coffee. I was mightily impressed with the sweet but my colleagues were even more impressed by the size of the white chocolate cheesecake of which was a good size portion. We came away very full but not bursting . Would go again for an evening..
Went to Salute for my first time to meet a friend for dinner, drinks and a good old catch up! Had a lovely evening! We'd arrived earlier than our reservation so that we could enjoy a drink at the bar beforehand. Prosecco was very well priced! As was the rest of the wine list. We chose of the grazing menu £18.95 for 3 courses! Very well priced again! Staff were attentive without being over bearing. Additionally, they were very helpful when our taxis didn't arrive til VERY late, 45 minutes after closing! Restaurant was full and so atmosphere was great! Will definitely be visiting again :-)
We spent New Years Eve at Salute and had the most fantastic time! Service was absolutely first rate and Kyle the waiter assigned to look after our party of 10 that night was absolutely brilliant. All the food was cooked to perfection and every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We could not fault one thing and in fact the whole night totally exceeded all our expectations. Thanks so much to Justine, Kyle, Lynn and Greg and all the rest of the staff for making it such a memorable night. We enjoyed it so much we have already agreed that we'll all book again for next year. Well done Salute from the Parker family

This is a great Italian themed family run restaurant. The food is always very good and there is a nice friendly atmosphere.
The menu is always full of variety and invention with a number of Yorkshire based dishes as well as interesting Italian style meals that you won't find elsewhere as well as more traditional pastas and pizzas.
Very good service and good value for money. We had for four - beers, two bottles of wine, starters main courses and a dessert £130 including 10% service. An excellent gem of a restaurant - have been many times- will go many times more!
